Coming soon!

A new online portal for all Rottnest Island boating licence and permit applications is currently being implemented.

Once launched, all mooring site licenses, authorised user permits, annual admission permits, mooring site licence waiting list applications, and Domestic Commercial Vessel (DCV) permits will be applied for, renewed and managed online by the licence or permit holder.

For private vessel entry to the Rottnest Island marine reserve, individual admission fees can continue to be paid online, as well as bookings for Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) marine hire facilities. Rental facilities can be booked 100 days in advance of your arrival date.

Rottnest Island Authority also offers a range of marine facilities free of charge, on a first-in/best-served basis. For further information please click here.

See below for further information on how to continue enjoying boating at Rottnest whilst we implement the launch of the new online portal.

Renewal applications for existing licences and permits for 2021-2022
