About
Domestic Commercial Vessels (DCV) can apply for the Rottnest DCV operating permit. This allows commercial operators to be invoiced for the admission fees based on number of passengers carried and the activity type of each visit. Permit holders will be invoiced each month.
Domestic Commercial Vessels operating permits are issued for 12 months from 1 September each year.
All DCVs are subject to the terms and conditions of vessel entry to the Rottnest Island Reserve.
Permit Conditions
There are conditions that are specific to DCVs in addition to the standard conditions of permits for commercial operations on Rottnest Island. These conditions can be found in the Domestic Commercial Vessel New Permit Application form.
Domestic Commercial Vessels that do not have a DCV permit need to pay their admission fees on the day. This can be done by attending the Island's Visitor Centre or online.
