Rottnest Island Seniors Ferry Subsidy Scheme Terms and Conditions

• The Rottnest Island Seniors Ferry Subsidy Scheme is available to customers who hold a valid Western Australian (WA) Seniors Card for day or overnight return ferry services from Fremantle or Hillarys to Rottnest Island with participating Ferry Company(s) within the offer period for the eligible travel dates.
• Customers utilising the Rottnest Island Seniors Ferry Subsidy Scheme will book and pay for ferry services with participating Ferry Company(s).
• A valid WA Seniors Card must be produced, as requested by the Ferry Company at any time during the booking and travel periods.
• A cancellation of the subsidised ferry ticket will be subject to the participating Ferry Company’s terms and conditions.
• Subsidised tickets may be transferred, subject to the participating Ferry Company’s terms and conditions. The subsidised ticket must be rebooked for travel during the eligible travel period.
• In the event of a ferry cancellation due to weather, safety or vessel inoperability, refunds and credit notes will be subject to the participating Ferry Company terms and conditions. If a credit note is issued, the customer will be advised that to travel at the same cost, they will need to do so within the eligible travel period, as the fare will not be subsidised after the eligible travel period, and additional costs and admission fee charges will apply.
• Subsidised ferry fares must be booked directly with the participating Ferry Company.
• Prices are inclusive of GST and are only applicable for ferry transfer. Additional fees may apply including booking, transaction, and luggage fees.
• Subsidised fares are non-commissionable and cannot be made via third party sites or visitor centres.
• Subsidised fares must not be used in conjunction with other special discounts or offers.
• The eligible booking period is when bookings for the eligible travel period will be accepted by the participating Ferry Company for the subsidised ferry travel. The eligible booking period is 20 June 2024 – 18 August 2024 inclusive.
• The eligible travel period is when the subsidised ferry travel is applicable for, when booked during the eligible booking period with a participating Ferry Company. The eligible travel period is 27 June 2024 – 18 August 2024 inclusive.
• The Rottnest Island Seniors Ferry Subsidy Scheme is subject to availability and is limited to one (1) ticket per person, per valid WA Seniors Card, per day.
• The Rottnest Island Seniors Ferry Subsidy Scheme is only valid for the WA Seniors Card holders.
• Subsidised ferry fares cannot be resold or exchanged for cash.
