Settlement Explorer Tour
Cruise along and explore the surroundings of the main settlement. Highlights on the 1-hour tour include:

Located in Thomson Bay, a short walk south from the main jetty and Visitor Centre. You’ll find them just past Dome Cafe and before Hotel Rottnest

Yes, there are weight limits for rider safety and to reduce the risk of damage to the device.

Minimum rider weight: 45 kg

Maximum rider weight: 117 kg (including cargo)

Children must be 12 years or above to join a Segway tour.

Yes, falls are possible. While the Segway balances for you, direction and speed are under your control. 

Your ability to safely control a Segway will be assessed during the training phase of the tour.

If, after an appropriate amount of training and familiarisation time, the trainers assess that you are not safely able to control the Segway, you will not be able to go ahead with the tour.

Enclosed shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.

Protective helmets which meet Australian Safety Standards are provided for the tour.

Each tour begins with a supervised training session to ensure you can operate a Segway safely.

No, all scheduled tours will run regardless of the number of bookings.
