Luggage by FerryTransfers across to Rottnest Island can be booked through one of the three ferry operators. The ferry operators will provide luggage labels that will include both your onward and return information.
Your chosen ferry operator will produce your luggage labels with all your accommodation and travel details printed on them for both your travel to and from the Island. Your specific unit number must be hand written on any luggage labels with a permanent marker prior to loading at the ferry terminal to enable delivery to your accommodation.
If any change is made to your ferry departure time or date a new luggage label must be collected from the Visitor Centre on the Island and old labels removed to avoid confusion.
On your departure from the Island your luggage will be collected from outside your gate (or the communal luggage points at Caroline Thomson, Governors Circle, Kingstown Barracks and the Camping Ground) at 8am. Guests staying on the Camping Ground or in the Hostel/Kingstown Barracks will have their luggage collected at 9am from the communal luggage points. For those departing on a ferry leaving before 10.00am please contact the Visitor Centre 24 hours in advance to arrange for an early luggage pick-up at 7am.
