Nestled alongside the stunning lakes of Wadjemup / Rottnest Island, The Lodge offers a tranquil retreat where modern comfort meets the island’s rich cultural heritage.

Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, or with family and friends, you can choose from a range of rooms designed to suit every need for a space that feels like home.

The first to be introduced will be the Courtyard and Lake Rooms. The Courtyard Rooms are cosy bunk rooms situated within the historic reformatory building. The Lake Rooms feature picturesque views of Garden Lake, ideal for a peaceful stay. The Poolhouse Rooms will also be available as part of Stage Two, along with the pool and event spaces.

Whether you're here to unwind or seek adventure, the Lodge's onsite dining options cater to all tastes. Head to Sunsets, the open-air dining space or, for a more casual experience, the Pelican Kiosk serves coffee, soft serve ice cream, and quick bites.

From snorkelling in crystal-clear waters to exploring the island’s trails, activities like cycling, sunset sailing, golf, and even skydiving await you. Book your stay at The Lodge Wadjemup and be one of the first to enjoy this extraordinary retreat.

Stage One bookings now open

Be the first to stay at The Lodge Wadjemup with first release rooms now open to book for stays in 2025. Enjoy the Courtyard and Lake Rooms, along with onsite dining, providing a peaceful, nature-filled base to explore the island.

A number of accessible rooms will be available for booking as a part of the Stage 2 release.

Where to find The Lodge Wadjemup

Situated behind the main settlement and overlooking Garden Lake, The Lodge is conveninetly located at the corner of Digby Drive and Kilson Street. Just off the main settlement of the island, the main entrance is easily accessible via Boreham Street.

Sunsets is the main bar and dining area, set to open in summer 2024/2025. It will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, offering a Mediterranean-inspired menu. Breakfast will be available via reservation only.

Pelican is the kiosk, serving coffee, soft serve ice cream, and more, and will also open in summer 2024/2025.
