The subsidy only applies for bookings within the Kingstown Dorms, Kingstown Hostel and Governor Circle accommodation. Campground bookings will be charged at normal rates.
We require at least one adult per 10 students when staying in the dormitories and hostel, and a minimum of one adult per Governor Circle cottage.

A complementary activity room can be added to the booking; however, they are subject to availability.
Your booking can be cancelled without fees up until three months prior to arrival (refer to full terms and conditions).

Whilst Governor Circle cottages have fully equipped kitchens and a BBQ, the dormitories at Kingstown Barracks have no catering facilities available. The hostel has a shared kitchen and lounge facilities.

Yes, there is limited wheelchair-accessible accommodation and this is subject to availability.
Kingstown Barracks is located 1.8 km south of the Thomson Bay settlement. This is a leisurely 20-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride. There is also a shuttle service to Kingstown at a cost of $3 per person per day or $5 per week.
Check-in time is from 2 pm for Governor Circle and 12 noon for dormitories and hostel accommodation. Check-in is at the Visitor Centre at the end of the main jetty prior to going to your accommodation.
Check-out time is 10 am for the dormitories and hostel accommodation and 9 am for Governor Circle.
Your chosen ferry operator will provide your luggage labels or book your luggage crates. If you have your luggage delivered in crates, please pre-book your crate pick-up date and time at the Visitor Centre while checking in.
The quiet times for Kingstown Barracks and Governor Circle is between 9 pm and 9 am.
