The Lane Cafe

Get your day off to a great start. The Lane is a favourite for fresh coffee and gourmet food.

The Summer Season is Here
It’s the most popular time to visit so please be patient or have a few options in mind should you meet a few other hungry crowds at your preferred venue when you arrive.
Ease into the day with a trip to The Lane, where the specialist team of baristas are always happy to welcome you with fresh coffee and a smile.

Here, you’ll find fresh juices, flavoursome smoothies, acai bowls and an iconic menu item: the cray dog. A visit to Rottnest Island just isn’t complete without sampling this delightful dish. The cray dog features grilled crayfish marinated in garlic and olive oil and topped off with a zesty jalapeno mayo, delicately sandwiched between soft bakery buns.

Sit down and surround yourself with the lively energy of the settlement or simply grab something to go, with their selection of takeaway breakfast and lunch options.

The Lane caters to dietary requirements, with gluten free, lactose free, vegan and vegetarian options available on the menu.
