You have two picturesque options to choose from to reach Geordie Bay by bike — the coastal route and the path through the salt lakes. If you choose the coastal pedal, you’ll be treated to some of the island’s most iconic views, passing by The Basin and Longreach Bay before arriving at your destination.
Alternatively, follow Digby Drive and Geordie Bay Road through the salt lakes, where you can witness serene stillness and birdlife before reaching Geordie Bay. Both routes are about the same distance at just over 2 km, which will take you approximately seven minutes, depending on how fast you pedal.
