New Year's Eve 2021

Ring in the new year.

There’s no better place to spend the last day of the year than Rottnest Island.

Spend a relaxing day soaking up the sun and exploring the pristine beauty of the island, followed by an afternoon of fun entertainment that the whole family will love.

With celebrations spaced out throughout the Settlement precinct, you can safely ring in the New Year while keeping the whole family entertained.

From 3pm, kids can show off their creative skills and build the island’s best sandcastle, take part in a circus workshop, and enjoy some beach games including cricket and soccer. Little and not-so-little kids can have a dance party at the Silent Disco or jump into the Photo Booth for a celebratory selfie.

Then at 9pm, look skyward toward Thomson Bay for a spectacular firework display to send off 2021 and welcome in 2022.

The event is free to attend, but registration is required. Please ensure to register all members of your party, including children. Please note children must be accompanied by an adult.

Register for your tickets.

With late evening ferry departures back to Fremantle and Hillarys, you’ll be able to enjoy all the action all day before heading home.
